Christopher M. “Tonka” Dennis

Greer: Christopher Mackle Dennis 47, of 113 Aster Drive, died Sunday March 20, 2016 in Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

“Tonka” as he was affectionately called was a native of White Plains, NY, the  son of the late Bill and Everlee Cohen Dennis, a former machine operator and a Baptist.   

Surviving are : a brother, Calvin Dennis of Greer, SC; nieces; nephews; a host of other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, March 26, 2016 in Christian Fellowship Bibleway Church, with Pastor Bobby Cohen and Pastor Courtney Cohen, officiating.

His remains will lie in state at the church from 12:00 noon until the hour of services.
