Taylors, SC: Dorothy Ann Gash, 66 of 10 Riverside Drive, daughter of Mrs. Viola Pullum Barton of the home and the late Boyce Barton, died Wednesday, October 18, 2017 in Greenville Memorial Medical Center, Greenville, SC.

Native of Greenville County, SC, she was a 1969 graduate of Lincoln High School.  She received a Bachelors Degree from St. Augustine College in Raleigh, NC.

Dorothy was a member of Aiken Chapel Baptist Church in Taylors, SC, and was  formerly employed as a Greenville County Social Worker.

Also surviving are: a son, Travis Smith of Los Angeles, California; a daughter, Nakia Smith of Greenville, SC;  sister, Mrs. Betty Kearse of Taylors, SC; a god son, Clarence Davis of Greenville, SC; 3 grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 pm, Monday, October 23, 2017 in Aiken Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. W. O. Harrison, officiating. Her remains will be placed in the church at 12:00 noon Monday. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the home.
