Marshall Anthony James Jr.

Inman: Marshall Anthony James 56, of 63 Blackstock Road, died Friday May 13, 2016 in Magnolia Manor.

“Ankie” as he was affectionately called was a native of Greer, SC, the  son of Marshall James Sr. of Lyman, SC and the late Nancy Bennett James and the stepson of Susie G. James of Lyman;

He attended the public schools of Greenville County, was an auto Mechanic by trade and of the Baptist Faith.

He was preceded in death by his mother and his sister, Lisa Youvette James.  

Also surviving are : a son, Marshall Anthony (Sharee)  James III of Greer, SC; daughters, Jacqueline Catrice James of Charlotte, NC and Latoya Durham of Wellford, SC; a sister, Dorine (Sam) O’neal of Reidville, SC; granddaughters, Amaya, Tatiana, and Kerrianne Durham and Bailee James; a grandson, Elijah Scott; a host of other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, May 21, 2016 in Travelers Rest Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Lavelle McCray, officiating.

His remains will lie in state at the church from 12:00 noon until the hour of services.
