Mrs. Sylvia Stroble  Morrison

Greer:  Sylvia Stroble Morrison 68, of 114 East Church Street, died Thursday, June 29, 2017 in Greenville Memorial Hospital.

A native of Spartanburg County, SC,  she was a daughter of the late Walter Smith and the late Caroline Stroble, an employee of Greenville Hospital Systems and a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church where she was a former member of the Sunbeam Choir.

Surviving are:  brothers, Leroy, James, Richard, Dennis, Johnny and Anthony Stroble of Greer, SC; sisters, Wilma S. (L. C.) Jones and Dorothy Stroble, both of Greer, SC, Linda Teressa Stroble of Duncan, SC;  nieces, nephews a host of other relatives and many friends including a very devoted friend, Cleophus Smith of the home.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday July 5, 2017 in Cedar Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Jerome Rabb, officiating. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Gardens.

The family is receiving friends at the home and at 110 East Church Street.

A public visitation will also be held Tuesday evening from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the Gilmore Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Deborah Patterson, officiating.
