Mr. Harold Greer

Cowpens:  Harold Greer 58, of 30 Oak Ct., husband of Doris Williams Greer died Wednesday, May 17, 2017 in Bennettsville, SC.

A native of Greenville County, SC,  he was a son of the late Harold Lee Greer, Sr, and Minnie Mae Fleming Greer, a former truck driver for Dick Simons Trucking Company of Salt Lake City, Utah and a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Greer, SC.

Surviving are: his wife, Doris Williams Greer of Union, SC; 3 sons, Marico Smith of Greer, Rashad Carson of College Park, GA, and Jamar Irby of Greenville, SC; a daughter, Felicia Carson of Cowpens, SC; a sister, Loraine Miller of Spartanburg, SC; 5 grandchildren;  a host of other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 pm Tuesday, May 30, 2016 in The Gilmore Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow in Highland Cemetery.  

The family is receiving friends at the home of his son, Rico Smith, 410 Sunnydale Drive, Greer, SC.
