Spartanburg: On Sunday Evening, March 24, 2019 in St. Francis Downtown Hospital, Greenville, SC, God sent an angel for his loving Christian servant, Keith Lemond Elmore.
Native of Greenwood, SC, he was a son of Henry Jackson of Greenwood and the late Mary Ellen Elmore.
Educated in the public school of Greenwood County, he was employed as a truck driver for CR England Trucking Company.
He had a pleasing personality and was loved by all that came in contact with him. He will be greatly missed in the home and the community.
By other than his mother, Keith was preceded in death by: his brother, Jimmy Elmore and his stepfather, Jimmy Morton.
Surviving are: his wife, Wanda Lashayla Elmore of the home; sons, Ke’savious Elmore of Greenville, SC, Y’Sabion Elmore and Jaelan Anderson, both of NC; daughters, Keyanna and Arial Elmore of Greenwood, SC, Keislynn Elmore, Kariaya Thomas and Dazoria Curry all of the home; brothers, Johnny (Anita) Elmore, Matthew, Joshua and Jeremiah Jackson, Iran Wilson, Dennis, Kevin and Jarvis Wiggins and Alfred (Olgena) Wiggins, all of Greenwood, SC, David Tyrone Smith of Greenville, SC; sisters, Lashonda Elmore of Greenville, SC, Tonya (Phillip) Bryant of Fountain Inn, SC and Gladys Moss of Greenwood, SC; 2 grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 pm, Saturday, March 30, 2019 in Mt. Zion AME Church, 122 New Zion Road, Bradley, SC with the Pastor, Rev. James Louden, III and Rev. Von Austin, officiating. Burial will follow in The Evening Star Cemetery in Greenwood, SC.
