Alvin Gernard Grayson

Alvin Gernard Grayson 59 of 121 Caz Lane Apt. 8, took his step into eternity on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, in St. Francis Downtown Medical Center, Greenville, SC.

Native of Greenville County, SC, he was a son of the late George and Floree Gilliam Grayson.

He was educated in the public schools of Greenville County, SC and was a former chauffeur for Elite Limousine Services in Spartanburg.

Some of his loves were bowling, riding motorcycles, watching his favorite football team, The Pittsburg Steelers and spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Calvin Gilliam Grayson and James Lewis Grayson.

Surviving are: his sons, Nazario Grayson of the home, Isaah Gregory of Greer, SC, Odarrion Grayson of Taylors, SC, Adryan “Chucky” Grayson of Spartanburg, SC, Granada Grayson and Marquis Hunter of Greenville; daughters, Kiana Grayson of Greenville, SC, Janiya Harris, Jalia Earle and Shamia Talley, all of Greenville, SC, Ariana and Brianna Grayson of Greer, SC, Katrina “Mook” Grayson of Spartanburg, SC; brothers, Ray Grayson of Columbia, SC, Chauncey Grayson of Greenville, SC and Leon Grayson of Lyman, SC; a sister, Shebra Grayson of Taylors, SC; 5 grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. 

Viewing will be held from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Saturday, October 16, 2021 in the Fred Singleton Slumber Room of The Gilmore Mortuary.

Funeral Services will be 4:00 PM, Sunday, October 17, 2021 in Maple Creek Baptist Church with Rev Kenneth Murray and Rev. Earl D. Simmons, Sr. Officiating.
