Annie Belle Gregory Bomar of 110 Holiday Drive, received her wings on Sunday, August 30, 2020 in her residence surrounded by her family and friends.
She was a native of Spartanburg County, a daughter of the late Harrison Gregory Sr and the late Lucinda Mills Gregory, and the widow of Mem Bomar Sr.
Annie was educated in the public school system of Spartanburg County, SC, a former employee of Startex Mill and a dedicated member of New Trinity Baptist Church where she served on the Senior Choir until she became ill.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Josephine Hughes and two sons, Frank and Ronald Bomar.
Surviving are: sons, Mem Jr Bomar, Henry Eugene Bomar, both of Spartanburg, Rex Allen Bomar of Startex, SC, Michael Anthony (Amy) Bomar of Greenville, SC; daughters, Katie Ruth Irby, Jessie Belle Porter, Patricia Ann Ashmore and Julia Faye Foster of Spartanburg, SC, and Queen Bomar of the home; a brother, Rev. Harrison "June" Gregory Jr. (Hilda) of Greer, SC; grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Public Viewing will be Saturday, September 5, 2020 from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm in The Fred Singleton Slumber Room of The Gilmore Mortuary.
Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM, Sunday, September 6, 2020 in New Trinity Baptist Church Cemetery, 1130 Old Spartanburg Highway, Lyman, SC, 29365, with Rev. Dennis Rector, officiating.
Face Mask and social distancing will be encouraged for the health and safety of all at the viewing and funeral services.
