Annie Pearl Glenn

Annie Pearl (Nee Baldwin), known affectionately to all who loved her as “Ante”, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2025 at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Native of Columbus, GA, she spent the majority of her life in Northern Virginia, where she raised her family and built a lofe full of deep connections. Six years ago, she moved to Greer, SC which became her final home on this earth.

Ante’s life was defined by her devotion to her family. She was the beloved wife of James H. Glenn and a dedicated mother to her daughter, Jameseko G. Umscheid and her son, Tajh H. Glenn. She was a proud mother-in-law to Christoph Umscheid and took immense joy in being a grandmother to Annika J. Umscheid (Uschi).

One of eleven children, Ante is survived by seven brothers and sisters. She was preceded in death by three siblings.

Ante was a woman of profound sincerity who loved her friends and family deeply. Her warmth, her spirit and the memory of her love will be cherished forever by all who had the priviledge of knowing her.

A small Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 in Piedmont, SC.
