Arthur Clarence Sullivan 83, husband of Rozell Wright Sullivan of 105 Appomattox Drive, was rewarded his wings on Thursday, April 22, 2021 in The McCall Hospice House.
Native of Greenville County, he was a son of the late Jennie V. Sullivan.
Educated in the public Schools of Greenville County, he was a retired Brick Mason.
A devoted Christian, he joined Mt. Emanuel Baptist Church in Greenville, SC at an early age. He later moved his membership to Old Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church in Simpsonville, SC where he served in various capacities; including on the All Male Choir, a former Sunday School Teacher, Past president of the Prison Ministry, A former Trustee, The Pastors Aid, The hospitality, The Kitchen and Yard Ministries.
Also surviving are: sons, Rev. Leon (Debra) Wright of Fountain Inn, SC, and Ray Charles (Chris) Wright of Charlotte, NC; daughters, Regina (Courtland) Davis of Columbia, SC and Brenda Wright of Lexington, NC; brothers, James Acker of Bronx, NY, Lawrence and Rodney Acker of Greenville, SC; sisters, Jennie (William) Jones of Bowie, MD, Deborah Powe of Greenville, SC and Cheryl (William) Ruff of Brown Mills, NJ; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Public Viewing will be Friday, April 30, 2021 from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm in The Fred Singleton Slumber Room of The Gilmore Mortuary.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 1, 2021 in Old Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 3540 Woodruff Road, Simpsonville, SC 29681 with the pastor, Rev. Terry Norman, Officiating.
Face Mask and social distancing will be encouraged for the health and safety of all at the viewing and funeral services.
