Barbara Latese (Smith) Dawkins

Barbara Latese Smith was born on May 29, 1961 in Allen-Bennett Hospital in Greer, SC.

She was a daughter of the late Calvin James and Merion Drummond Smith.

She received her formal education in the public schools of Greenville County and was former employee of TNS Mills.

She was preceded in death by a 3 brothers: Calvin James Smith Jr., Fonda Smith and Lewis Smith and a sister, Marion Smith.

Surviving are: sons, Derrick Renaldo Quadricas Smith, of Greer, SC and Ashley Dawkins of Spartanburg, SC; daughters, Porchia Smith of the home and Audrianna Dawkins of Spartanburg, SC; brothers Perry (Butch) Smith of Denver, CO; Ronald Smith of the home; a sister, Thalia Foster of Wellford, SC; Alzhella (Marvin) DeCosta of Boston, MA; Mary Elizabeth Smith of Denver, CO; Deyvonne Smith of Mauldin, SC; Roxanne Smith of Manhattan, NY 9 grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

 Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, March 20, 2022 in The Chapel of The Gilmore Mortuary with Pastor Edward Ballenger, officiating.
