Belinda King Clarke

Belinda King Clarke 59 of 209 Turner Street, daughter of the late Eddie and Viola Shumate King entered eternity on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 in Spartanburg Medical Center.

Native of Greenville County, SC she was a daughter of the late Eddie and Viola Shumate King. She attended the public schools of Greenville County, SC and was a former caregiver for Ridgeview Community Care and a housekeeper. She was truly a believer of LORD JESUS CHRIST.

Belinda was preceded in death by her siblings, Lorene Dennis, Annie Bell Brockman, Wade Moses Smith, Donnie and Lee Alvin Smith.

Surviving are: 2 daughters, Blondie Clarke of Lakeland, FL and Lasaunda Clarke of Greer; 3 brothers, Freddie King of Greer, SC, Darryl King of Marietta, SC and Isaiah King of Camden, NC; a sister, Bobbie Jean Burnside of Travelers Rest, SC; 7 grandchildren, Kishaunna Rice, Rayshun Rice, Quaneka Clarke, Keshaun Smith, Brittany, Demareo and Nariah McEachron; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends including a special friend, Napoleon Foster.

Viewing will be from 1:00 until 6:00 pm Wednesday in the Rev. John H. Gilmore Slumber Room of The Gilmore Mortuary.

Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, September 30, 2021 in Highland Cemetery with Pastor John C. Burnside, officiating.
