Betty Jo (Greer) Glenn

Betty Jo Glenn, 90 of 3441 Jug Factory Road, widow of Horace Glenn transitioned into eternal life on Tuesday, September 16, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her family and friends.

Native of Greenville County, SC she was a daughter of the late T. C. Greer and the late Mary Dodd, a former employee of Victor Mill and a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church.  

Betty was preceded in death by other than her parents and husband; a daughter, Dorothy Glenn; 5 sisters, Helen Agnew, Lilly Mae Jackson, Alberta Greer, Rita and Flora Kelly, and a brother, A C Greer.

Surviving are: sons, Johnny L. (Diane) Greer of Greenville, SC; Verdale Greer of Greer, SC; Horace (Sabrina) Glenn of Greer, SC; daughters, Norma Jean Foster, Catalina Glenn and Doris Glenn, all of Greer, SC; a sister, Clara Kelly of Wellford, SC; 12 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Viewing will be from 1:00 until 5:00 PM on Saturday, September 20, 2025, in The Fred Singleton Slumber Room of the Gilmore Mortuary.

Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM Sunday, September 21, 2025, in Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery.
