Billy Jo Williams 68 of 183 Cooksey Street answered the Masters Call on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at his residence.
Native of Greenville County, SC, he was a son of the late Jacob C. Smith and the late Eunice Mae Parks.
Educated in the public schools of Spartanburg County, SC, he was of the Baptist Faith.
Billy was a Landscaper who loved horses, country music, pecan pies and coconut pound cakes. He loved to cheer for the Clemson Tigers and the Miami Dolphins football teams. He did a lot of missionary work for York County, SC under the leadership of Dr. Rev. Mike.
He was predeceased by his siblings, Jerry “Chucky”, Ronnie Leverett and Douglas Christopher Parks.
Left to cherish loving memories are: his wife, Priscilla Williams of Rock Hill, SC; a son, Zachary Lawson of Charlotte, NC; brothers, George B. Williams of Anniston, AL, Frankie Lee Parks of Greer, SC, Darrell and Kelvin Hewins of Simpsonville, SC; sisters, Brenda Shippy of Charleston, WV, Deborah Gail Parks of Wellford, SC, and Tammy Parks of Greer, SC. 3 grandchildren, Zayden, Zaaly and Amyrah Lawson of Duncan, SC; his sister-in-law, Patricia Leverett of Greer, SC and a devoted loving friend, Yvonne Lowe of Rock Hill, SC.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, April 16, 2025 in The Gilmore Mortuary Chapel with Rev, Jerry Jones and Rev. Jimmy Dawkins, officiating.
Repast will follow at the home of his sister, Tammy Parks, 206 Sunnyglen Drive Greer, SC.
