Bobby Earl Lyles

Bobby Earl Lyles, 61 of 107 Amberwood Lane, died Saturday, January 23, 2021 at his residence.

Born in Greenville County, SC, he was a son of Bobby Lee Lyles (Brenda) of Greer, SC and the late Mary Lee Williams.                                         

Educated in the public school system of Greenville County, he was a graduate of Greer High School, class of 1977, a member of Reedy River Missionary Baptist Church a former supervisor for General Electric Corp in Greenville, SC and a Veteran of The US Marines.

He loved traveling and spending time with family.

He was preceded in death by his brother Darryl Foster.

Surviving are: his daughters, Jessica Lyles of Long Beach, CA, Chelcey Lyles of Mauldin, SC and honorary daughter, Tameka Wright of Boiling Springs; brothers, Terry (Natasha) Lyles of Duncan, SC, Dean Wyatt of Greensboro, NC, Barry (Jackie) Foster of Greer, SC; sisters, Gwendolyn Lyles of Greensboro, NC and Tanika (Johnny) Wallace of Greer, SC; 3 grandchildren: Trinity Lyles, Mason Lyles and Skylar Greenlee; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives including a dear friend, Hannah Lyles.

Viewing will be held Thursday, 1-6 p.m. in the Rev. John H. Gilmore Slumber Room of The Gilmore Mortuary.

Private services will be held Friday at 2:00 PM in The Gilmore Mortuary Chapel followed by burial in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
