Bobby Bernard Whiteside

Bobby Bernard Whiteside 72, of 418 Ward St, entered into eternal rest on  Thursday, December 12, 2024 at his residence.

Native of Spartanburg County, he was a son of the late John Vernon and Dorothy Ann Drummond Whiteside, a graduate of Lincoln High School class of 1970, a former employee of Victor Mill and a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Greer.

Bobby loved to Watch Wrestling on TV along with his favorite football team, the Indianapolis Colts.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings Roger “Rudy” and Virgil Lee Whiteside.

He leaves to cherish loving memories: a sister, Loretta (Jimmy) Davis; a brother, Mr. Stanley Miller all of Greer, SC;  a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Viewing will be from 1:00 PM until 5:00 Pm on Saturday, December 21, 2024 in the Fred Singleton Slumber Room of The Gilmore Mortuary.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 22, 2024 in Cedar Grove Baptist Church with the pastor, Rev. Jerome Rabb, officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.

His remains will be placed in the church one hour before the services.
