Brenda Brockman Obituary

Brenda Louise Cooper Brockman, 61, of 220 Highland Ave, Widow of Thurmond Brockman, was called from labor to eternal rest on Friday December 25, 2020 at her residence.

Born in Spartanburg County, SC, she was a daughter of the late John and Garnell Irby Cooper, a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church and a former Nurses Assistant for Piedmont Lutheran Nursing home

“Bunbun”, as she was affectionately called by her friends, loved to cook. She also love her friends and family. Although she had no children, she was a mother to her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Cardene Cooper and a niece, Amanda Cooper.

Surviving are: 2 brothers, Timmy and Johnny Cooper of Greer, SC; sisters, Terrie Cooper of the home, Patricia Cooper of Greer, SC and Ruth Ann Cooper (Alexander) Nash of Spartanburg, SC; nieces; nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Due to COVID-19, memorial Services will be held at a later date.
