Ms. Brittany Lechelle Foster

Duncan: Ms. Brittany L. Foster was a daughter of Darlene H. Grayson and the late Quention L. Benson.

She was born in Greer, SC on Sunday  June 23, 1985. Brittany attended and graduated from Greer High School in the class of 2003. Many of her classmates can tell you stories of her zooming up and down the halls of Greer High School  in her scooter, her huge smile that could light up a room, and her most distinguishable laugh. 

Brittany was a member of Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Lyman, SC. She was a former employee of The Charles Lee Center in Spartanburg, SC, but her passion was working with children. She loved to take care of little children, be it family members or friends’, and they all loved their “Britt Britt”. She was always willing to help anyone in need and had the biggest heart. To know her was to love her.

Brittany was preceded in death by her father Quention L. Benson, Step Father Darryl A. Foster, Sr., maternal grandfather Melvin Henderson, Sr., paternal  grandparents Jacob & Mary Alice Foster; and loving God-mother Lorna Wright.

Left to cherish loving memories are: her mother, Darlene H. Grayson (James); brothers Branddon L. Benson, Darryl A. Foster, Jr. (Desyree)., and Todd Tanner; sisters Bridget L. Ballenger, Nariah N. Grayson, NaQuita Q. Cox, and Shanira D. Foster; maternal grandmother Lois I. Henderson, grandparents Bob & Brenda Lyles; nephews Malquez T. Brown, Makell T. Brown, Malachi T. Brown, Mason N. Cox, and Damari J. Foster; nieces Khloe A. Wright, Tybrianna A. McPhail; Godsisters Tamisha Ballenger, Tanesha Ballenger, Krishenia Morrow, Keyshaunna Rice; a host of aunts, uncles, great-aunts, cousins (who were all like brothers and sisters), and many more relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 PM, Thursday September 3, 2015 at Praise Cathedral Church of God in Greer, SC. Burial will take place at Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Lyman, SC.
