Bryton Malik Griffin

Bryton Malik Griffin 26 of 131 Pinecroft Drive, took his step into eternity on Friday, July 3, 2020 in Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital, Greenville, SC.

Born in Greenville County, he was a son of Kimberly Murray and the late Michael Scott Griffin.

“Grip” as he was affectionately called was a 2012 graduate of Blue Ridge High school where he excelled in football as a all-state wide receiver for the Blue Ridge Tigers. He was the 2011 Greer Citizen Player Of The Year in Football. After graduating from high school, he continued his education by attending Georgia Military School in Milledgeville, GA on a football scholarship.

He attended New Life International Church in Taylors with his parents during his younger life. He was an aspiring musician and he loved spending time with family and friends.

Left to cherish loving memories are: his mother, Kimberly M. Griffin of the home; a brother, Brennen D’Michael Griffin of Taylors, SC; sisters, Amber Briauna (Lawrence) Gardner of Taylors, SC, Breanna Yastace Bruster of Lyman, SC and Emilee Makayla Griffin of Laurens, SC; a special friend, Shaketa Thorne of Taylors, SC;  a host nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, July 11, 2020 in Trinity Point Church, 1938 Brushy Creek Road, Easley, SC. 29642 with Rev. Kenneth Murray Jr., Officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mark United Methodist Church Cemetery, Taylors, SC. We will exercise all caution to protect our family and staff from COVID-19, so please act accordingly.
