Carnell Parks 75, of 125 Third Day Street, Piedmont, SC answered the Masters Call on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 in Regency Hospital, Greenville, SC.
Native of Lincolnton County, GA, he was a son of the late Willie Walter and Alberta Jones Parks.
Carnell served as a communications expert in The US Army during The Viet-Nam war. He was a former electrician and a Christian.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Alma Mills, Alice Ramey, Eunice “Boonie” Parks, Christine Lacey, George, Joe M, ST. and Johnny Willie Parks.
Surviving are: his daughters, Monica J. (Willie) Booker of Greer, SC, Shana R. Parks of Charlotte, NC, Shonya P. (Shalamar J) Heyward of Greenville, SC; sisters, Rita Prichard of Buckeye, Arizona and Bobbie (Willie) Lyons of the home; grandchildren, Kamesha Booker Harris(Deacon Donnell Harris), Elder Demone T.Booker,(Ngozi), Dr. Warrin T. Booker, Kortnie L. Booker, Zaneta V Booker and Karuiam V. Booker (LaSarah), Cherre'F Q.Parks, Siquoryah A. Shabazz, Shaniyah A. Shabazz, Tanika A. Smith, Kenneth A. Smith and Shalamar J. Heyward. 8 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
