Carrie Alice (Jones) Martin

Carrie Alice Jones Martin 79, of 113 Sunnyglen Drive was called from her labor on April 17, 2025 at her residence surrounded by her family and friends.

Widow of John Martin, she was a daughter of the late L C Jones and Carrie Davenport Jones.

Native of Newberry, SC, she was a former weaver for JP Stevens and a member of Christian Fellowship Church in Greer, SC.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Reba Diane Martin Land.

Surviving are: a son Terry Martin of Greenville, SC; a sister, Lela Mae Caldwell of Newberry, SC; 3 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces; nephews;  other relatives and many friends.

A Memorial Service will be held 5:00 PM Friday April 25, 2025 in The Gilmore Mortuary Chapel.
