Daphne Demetris Williams

Spartanburg: Daphne Williams 48 of 93 West Celestial Drive, Greer, SC transitioned from labor to reward on Saturday, March 14, 2020 in Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

A native of Brooklyn, NY, she was a daughter of Nellie Broadus Williams of Greer, SC. and the late Billy Solan Williams.

She was a member of Maple Creek Missionary Baptist Church where she  served on the Choir and Praise Team. Daphne was a self employed writer with DWritewell Publishing Company.

Also Surviving are:  brothers, Billy Patrick Mills, Jeff Mills and Dewayne Mills of Greer, SC, Bobby James of Duncan, SC, Robert Edward Williams and LaShawn “Rocky” Stewart of Brooklyn, NY: a sister Desha Evans of Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

The family will receive friends Thursday, March 19, 2020 from 5:00 until 7:00 pm in the mortuary.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday March 20, 2020 in The Maple Creek Missionary Baptist Church with the pastor, Rev. Earl Simmons Sr. officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
