Dorothy Hazel Hunter 88, of 112 Lyles Drive, entered into eternal rest on Sunday August 16, 2020 in the McCall Hospice House, 1836 W. Georgia Road in Simpsonville, SC.
“Dot”, as she was affectionately called, attended the public schools of Greenville County, SC and was a daughter of the late Carey and Annie Mae Valentine Hunter. She attended Victory Temple Missionary Baptist Church and a former employee of Allen-Bennett Memorial Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her siblings; James, Clarence, Hubert, Carey Jr. and Rev. Jesse Hunter.
Surviving are: her sons, Freddie and Frankie Hunter of Taylors, SC; a brother, James Arnold Jr. of Fayetteville, NC; sisters, Mamie Lee Roland of Buffalo, NY and Annie Bell Hunter of Greer; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Graveside Services will be held 1:00 PM, Wednesday, August 19, 2020 in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor, Robert L. Simpson, Officiating.
