Douglas Christopher Parks 51 of 206 Sunnyglen Drive, was born in Greer, SC on May, 18, 1970.
"Pudding" as he was affectionately called was a son of the late Samuel Calhoun and the late Eunice Parks.
Educated in the public schools of Spartanburg County, he was a former cook and a United Methodist by faith.
On Wednesday Morning, November 3, 2021, just a little more than 3 hours past sunrise, he entered into eternal rest, re-uniting with his mother and all of his loved ones that had gone before in Spartanburg Medical Center, Spartanburg SC.
Surviving are: brothers, George Williams of Aniston, Al, Billy Joe Williams of York, SC, Frankie Parks of the home and Patrick Dodd of Greer, SC; 5 sisters, Brenda Shippy of Lyman, SC, Deborah Parks of Wellford, SC, Tammy Parks of the home, Patricia Calhoun of Greer, SC and Marzetta Wilson of New York; a host of nieces including Zaria McBee of the home; nephews including Patrick Dodd Jr of Greer, SC; other relatives and many friends
Viewing will be from 1:00 until 6:00 pm Sunday, November 7, 2021 in the Fred Singleton Slumber Room of The Gilmore Mortuary.
Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, November 8, 2021 in Greenville Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jimmy Dawkins, officiating.
