Effie Lee (Greer) Dennis

Effie Lee Dennis 85 of 327 Sunnyglen Drive answered the Masters Call on Monday October 27, 2025 at her residence surrounded by her family and friends.

Native of Spartanburg County, she was a daughter of the late Lewis and the late Corrine Robinson Dennis, a former machine operator in for JP Stevens and of the Pentecostal faith.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Willie Lee “Bill” Dennis, Marvin Dennis, Mildred Snoddy and Agnes Dennis.

Surviving are: sons, Michael (Schconnie) Dennis of Simpsonville, SC and Everett Dennis of the home; a daughter, Michelle (Nohai) Rivers of Greenville, SC; Brothers, Perry (Betty) Dennis of Greer, SC, Tommy Lee (Gaye) Dennis of Greenville, SC and Lewis James Dennis of the home; sisters, Sylvia Jean (Robert) Whiteside of Greer, SC and Jannie (Nathaniel) Hunter of the home. 6 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; a host of nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.  

Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Saturday November 8, 2025 in Christian Fellowship Bibleway Church with Bishop Courtney Cohen, officiating. Burial will follow in Needmore Cemetery
