Elizabeth Marlene Holden

Elizabeth Marlene Holden 64, daughter of the late Paul Lee and Bonnie Solbee Tallent was born in Spartanburg County, SC on March 3, 1957.

Educated in the public Schools of Greenville County, she was a former waitress for A & P Restaurant in Greer.

On Sunday Morning, September 26 2021 took her step into eternity and was united with her parents and all of her loved ones gone before.  

Marlene was a kind and friendly person who never met a stranger. She was loved by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.    

Surviving are: her husband, Doyle Holden; 2 brothers,  Dale (Laney) Smith of Duncan, SC, and Roger Tallent of the home; a sister, Peggy (Brenda) Smith of the  home; a host of other relatives and many friends.

Viewing will be held Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 1:00 until 6:00 PM in The Fred Singleton Slumber Room of The Gilmore Mortuary.
