Evan Dewayne Heinze

Spartanburg, SC: Evan Dewayne Heinze 18, of 70 Sara Lynn Ct, entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 23, 2020 in his residence.

Native of Greer, SC he was a son of Kendra Diane Cantrell of the home and the late Travis Eugene Heinze Sr.

Educated in the public schools of Spartanburg County, SC, he was a former electrician for Quality Heating and Air in Spartanburg and a Baptist.  

He was preceded in death by: his father and his maternal grandparents, Wayne and Judy Cantrell.

Also surviving are: brothers, Chance Cantrell of Columbia, SC, Drayton Jarrell of Spartanburg, SC and Travis Eugene Heinze Jr of Lyman, SC; sisters, Katie Massengale and Alizae Cantrell of Greer, SC, Emily Heinze and Haliegh Heinze of Lyman, SC and Kaitlyn Heinze of Charleston, SC; paternal grandparents, Dean and Sheila Heinze of Lyman, SC; his step father, Roger Jarrell of Spartanburg, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Viewing will be held Saturday, October 31 from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM in the Rev. John H. Gilmore Slumber Room of The Gilmore Mortuary.

Visitation will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, November 1, 2020 followed by the funeral services at 3:00 PM in The Gilmore Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Keith Kelly officiating. Burial will follow in Friendly Hills Cemetery in Chesnee, SC.

COVID 19 Precautions will be observed at both the mortuary and the cemetery. We ask that you wear a mask and practice social distancing.
