Freddie William Mitchell

Freddie William Mitchell 68, of 433 Farley Ave, entered into eternal rest on Monday October 5, 2020 in Spartanburg Medical Center.

Native of Spartanburg County, he was a son of the late Fred Mitchell and the late Carrie Lee Franks Mitchell Patterson. He was a former landscaper and of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by: brothers, Willie Dandy and Billy Mitchell; and sisters, Minnie Bell and Anna Mitchell.

Surviving are: sisters, Sennie (Freddie) Davis of Wellford, SC, Lillie Mae Bobo of Roebuck, SC, Aratha Duncan of Greer, SC, Kathleen Dandy of Campobello, SC and Dorothy Irby of Spartanburg, SC;  a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Viewing will be Saturday October 10, from 1:00 until 6:00 PM   the John H. Gilmore Slumber Room of the Gilmore Mortuary and Sunday from 1:00 PM until the hour of Services in the Chapel of the Gilmore Mortuary.

Private funeral services  will be held 3:00 PM, Sunday, October 11, 2020 in The Gilmore Mortuary. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery.
