George Edward McIntyre

Lyman: George Edward McIntyre Jr 62 of Greer, SC, transitioned on Monday, December 8, 2025, in Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Native of Spartanburg County, SC he was a son of the late George McIntyre and Emma Williams, a former custodian and of the Baptist Faith.

Surviving are sons, Troy (Destini) Drummond of Simpsonville, SC and Aric Drummond of Lyman. SC; one step-son, Joshua Drummond of Greenville, SC; two daughters, Twana Drummond of  Spartanburg, SC and Tucara (Rico) Williams of Lyman, SC ; brothers, Thomas McIntyre of  Fountain Inn, SC, James (Keisha) McIntyre of Union, SC ; Robert McIntyre of Greer, SC; and one sister; Teressa (Carl) Thompson of Lyman, SC ;14 grandchildren; a host of nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.

Viewing will be from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Friday, December 12, 2025, in The Fred Singleton Slumber Room of the Gilmore Mortuary.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at New Jerusalem Baptist Church, Greer, SC at 1:00 pm.   

Family will be receiving friends at the home of his daughter, Tucara Williams, at 242 Hartleigh Drive Lyman, SC 29365
