Ms. Hattie Lee Cohen, daughter of the late Frank “Tank” Montgomery and Isola Cohen was born Tuesday November 23, 1937 in Spartanburg, SC and was called home to a life of eternal joy on Wednesday February 18, 2015.

Hattie Lee was educated in the public schools of Spartanburg County, a member of The United House of Prayer for All People Church, Greer SC and a retired employee of Homelite Textron of Greer, SC.

Her transition leaves a legacy of love, life and laughter for her family and friends. She will be greatly missed in the home, church, and the community. 

She was preceded in death by 3 sons, Douglas R. Cohen, Sammy Parks, and Danny Parks. Many fond and loving memories of her will be forever cherished by: 1 son Tony Parks of Taylors, SC; 1 daughter-in-law Reajean H. Cohen of Taylors, SC, grandchildren: Douglas A. (Ivery) Cohen of Greenville, SC, Tomika (Reginald) Callens of Morrow, GA, Rorie L. Holley of Taylors, SC, Atalaya (Demario) Hughes of Lancaster, SC, Shameka and Jasmine Parks of Augusta, GA, 7 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services were held 1:00 pm Monday, February 23, 2015 in The Gilmore Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Alfred Wright, officiating. Burial followed in The Needmore Cemetery.
