Henrietta (Thompson) Bruton

Lyman, SC: Henrietta Bruton, 78 widow of J. B. Bruton died  Monday, January 11, 2021 at her residence.

Born in Greenville County, SC, she was a daughter of the Fred and Hanna Massey Thompson, a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church, a former employee of David Green, Interiors, and Spring Industries.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Fred Thompson Jr., Birdie Mae Thompson, and Frank Thompson.

She loved cooking, gardening, sewing and Facebook.

Surviving are a son, Kenneth Bruton of Lyman, SC; 3 daughters, Rhonda (Roger) Mooney of Inman, SC, Debra Gray of Belton, SC and Pamela (Russell) Drummond of Greer, SC; a sister in law, Bobbie Kirby of Albany, GA; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild;  a host of nieces; nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Graveside services will be held Friday at 1:00 PM in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with Dr. Ankoma Anderson, officiating.
