Jamari Cortez Bonaparte-Jackson of 25 Maxie Avenue, son of Matthew Bonaparte and Juanita Jackson of Greenville, answered the Master’s Call on Thursday, March 31, 2022 in Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital, Greenville, SC.
He was a 7th grade student at Tanglewood Middle School and of the Baptist faith.
“Mari”, as he was affectionally called loved playing basketball, designing clothes, video editing and playing video games.
Also surviving are: his step-mother, Kimberly Eubanks of Greenville, SC; brothers, Matthew and Amir Bonaparte; sisters, Jamirah Bonaparte and Ariunna Jones; maternal grandparents; Marshall and Fannie Jackson; paternal grandparents, Dexter Pepper and Jacqueline Bonaparte, all of Greenville, SC; a host of other relatives and many friends.
Viewing will be held Friday, April 8, 2022 from 1:00 until 6:00 PM in the Fred Singleton Slumber Room of the Gilmore Mortuary.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, April 9, 2022 in Relentless Church, 635 Haywood Road, Greenville, SC 29609 with Pastor John Gray, officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
His remains will be placed in the church one hour before the services.
