Jerry Wayne Bennett

Fountain Inn, SC. Mr. Jerry Wayne Bennett 72 entered into eternal rest in his home on Friday, May 22, 2026.

Born and raised in Taylors, SC, he was the son of the late Lemuel and Nannie Mae Bennett, a graduate of Eastside High School, a former Master Diesel Mechanic, and a member of Enoree Fork Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, James “Jimmy” Bennett Sr., and Darrell Bennett.

Surviving are a daughter, Lyndsei Bennett of Mauldin, SC; a son, Colin Bennett of Fountain Inn, SC; a brother, Lee Bennett of Taylors, SC; a sister-in-law Carol Ann Bennett; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A Memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at 2:00pm in the Gilmore Mortuary Chapel.
