McRae, GA: Kendrick Al Gilliam, 61, of 1104 S. First Avenue, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 in McRae Manor.
Native of Greenville County, SC he was a son of the late Kenneth McKinney and the late Mary Louise Gilliam, and the step-son of Mary McKenzie McKinney of Taylors, SC, a former employee of Cooper’s Gas King and a Baptist.
He was predeceased by his siblings, Jerome Gilliam and Kimberly Ann McKinney Wofford.
Surviving are: a daughter, Tosha Martin of Atlanta, GA; brothers, James (Artell) McKinney of Greenville, SC, Anthony Tyrone (Bridgette) McKinney of Wellford, SC and Everette (Kimberly) McKinney of Prince George, VA; sisters, Veronica Gilliam and Latrice Gilliam of Taylors, SC, Felica Gilliam and Vickie Gilliam of Greer, SC; 2 grandchildren, Kortlen and Imani Martin of Atlanta, GA; 2 aunts, Joyce Goldsmith of Taylors, Phyllis Gilliam of Greer, SC; a great aunt, Francis Nunnally of Taylors, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, other close relatives and many friends.
Viewing will be Saturday, October 24, 2020 from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM in the Rev. John H. Gilmore Slumber Room of The Gilmore Mortuary.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, October 25, 2020 in Needmore Cemetery with Rev. Kenneth Murray Jr., officiating .
In the event of inclement weather the services will be held in the chapel of The Gilmore Mortuary.
