Leroy Williams, 69, of 3 Vehorn Street, Inman, SC took his leap into Glory at precisely 1:45 in the afternoon on Monday, December 14, 2020 in his residence surrounded by his family and friends.
Born in Greer, SC, he was a son of Minnie Mable of Greer, SC and the late Russel Daniels and the step son of the late Leroy Mable.
“Buster”, as he was affectionately called was a graduate of Lincoln High School, Class of 1969, a former mechanic for Mitsubishi Polyester Film in Greer, SC, and a member of Greater Bibleway Tabernacle in Inman, SC.
On June 18, 1988 he was united in holy matrimony to the former Vanessa Sealy at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Inman.
Buster loved his family, fishing from his boat, his gardening and his friends. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
Also surviving are: his wife, Vanessa Williams of the home; a daughter, Latricia Foster, a brother, Billy J. Mable, all of Greer, SC; 5 sisters, Mary Mable, Sarah (Marvin) Beachum and Brenda Mable of Greer, SC, Beulah Thomas of Wellford, SC and Alma Jean Mable of Williamston, SC; 2 grandchildren, Keisha and Johnathan Talley of Greer, SC; 4 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be Saturday, December 19, 2020 from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM in the Rev. John H. Gilmore Slumber Room of the Gilmore Mortuary.
Private funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, December 20, 2020 in the Gilmore Mortuary Chapel with Apostle Willie L. Rookard, officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery.
