Lewis Odell Dobbins

Lewis Odell Dobbins 71, of 201 Edwards St. answered the Masters Call on Wednesday, January 1, 2025 in Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Native of Georgetown, SC, he was a son of the late Oscar and Ruth Davis Dobbins, a former Carpenter for Cunningham Waters Construction Company and a Baptist.

Lewis loved to cook and carpentry.

He was preceded in death by other than his parents: grandparents, Charlie and Mary King Davis; siblings, his twin, Thomas Wendell Dobbins and Charles Lee Dobbins; sisters, Devora “V” Nelson, Amelia Evans, Mazie Lloyd and Katherine Dobbins.

Lewis is survived by: his wife, Linda Pickett Dobbins of the home; daughter, Deandra Dobbins of Greer, SC, Balinda Pickett of Piedmont, SC, Brandy White of Mauldin, SC; sons, Randy White of Simpsonville, SC, Jerome Green of Anderson, SC, James Green of Piedmont, SC; sisters, Mary Evans and Ruther B. Ladson of Georgetown, SC; Rosalyn Moore of Andrews, SC; brothers, Hal (Mary) Pickett of Taylors, SC, Ruben (Tamika) Pickett of Brooklyn, NY; grandchildren, Syheede, Kalayia and Tajaiya Muhammad of Duncan, SC; Marzane and Jahkira Cohen of Piedmont, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. 

Viewing will be from 11:00 AM until 2:45 PM on Saturday, January 11, 2025  in The Gilmore Mortuary Chapel followed by funeral Services at 3:00 PM.
