Lillie Virginia Brockman Walrond, daughter of the late Robert Enly and Janie Skinner Brockman was born in Taylors, SC on September 14, 1921. 

She moved to New York at an early age where she married John Harvey Walrond.  She worked as a housekeeper and as a nurse. 

She loved to cook, sew, laugh, tell stories and spend quality time with friends and family.

She was predeceased by her husband John Harvey Walrond, son Charles Walrond, her brother: Robert Enly Brockman and sister: Helen Brockman Anderson.

 Left to cherish loving memories are: 3 grandsons: Charles II of Fairburn, GA; Jason (Chamica) Walrond of Fairburn, GA; Christopher Walrond of Jamaica, NY. 2 Great Grandchildren Anora Walrond of Jamaica, NY; Liam Walrond Her other siblings are: Emma Johnson Magdalene Deadwyler both of Cleveland, OH. Parthenia Brown, Joyce Hairston, Cora (Caroll) Smith, Lottie Brockman, Willie (Charlie) Waden, James Brockman, Howard Brockman, Benjamin Brockman all of High Point, NC.  and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held 12:00 Noon, Thursday August 13, 2015 in Jubilee Baptist Church with the Pastor, Rev. Regenald Garrett, officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
