Mrs. Linda Bennon

Greenville: Mrs. Linda Ann Joyce Jackson Bennon, 58, of 1011 West Butler Road, Apt. 913 entered eternal rest on Friday, September 11, 2015 in The McCall Hospice House in Simpsonville, SC.   

She was born in Spartanburg, SC on Wednesday March 6, 1957 and was a daughter of Otis Jackson of Wellford, SC and the late Annie Lelia Jackson.

Linda was a 1975 graduate of James F. Byrnes High School in Duncan, SC., a former employee of Charter Communications, and a member of Macedonia FBH Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher, President of the Gospel Crusaders Choir, President of Senior Missionary, President of the Mother Board, Pastor Aide, Secretary of Finance and a member of the Usher Board.  

Surviving are: her husband, Toy Curtis Bennon; son, Toy Cavelle (Jennifer) Bennon; daughters; Tiana (Sheldon) Berry, Cassandra White; brothers, Douglas Jackson and Larry Jackson of Wellford, SC, and  Tony (Sandra) Jackson of Boiling Springs, SC; sister, Paulette Jackson of Greer, SC; 7 grandchildren;  a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.

 Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday September 16, 2015 at Fuller Normal School, 901 Anderson Rd, Greenville, SC 29601 with Elder R.J. Shackleford, 0fficiating. Burial will follow in the Graceland East Memorial Gardens in Simpsonville, SC.
