Lois Thompson, 80 of 455 Sunnyside Circle was called from labor to reward on Thursday, April 22, 2021 in Pelham Medical Center.
Native of Greenville County she was a daughter of the late Dennis Wood and the late Louise Thompson and the step-daughter of the late Rosemond Thompson..
A private caregiver by profession, she attended the public schools of Greenville County, SC and was a member of Maple Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
Lois was preceded in death by her siblings Lee Alvin “Bud” Smith and Sylvia Morrison.
Also surviving are: her sons, Curtis (Andrea) Thompson Sr. of Greenville, SC and Timothy Earl Thompson of the home; brothers, Richard, Anthony, Dennis, Johnny, James and Leroy Stroble all of Greer; sisters, Wilma (L.C) Jones and Dorothy Stroble of Greer, Teresa Stroble of Duncan, SC; 4 grandchildren; Timel (Torrey) Wilson of Greer, SC; Ayonna (Allington Sr) Bowen of Simpsonville, SC, Curtis Thompson Jr of Durham, NC and Heidi Witthuhn of Duncan, SC; 4 great grandchildren, Torrian, Brayden and Skylar Wilson of Greer, Allington “AJ” Bowen Jr of Simpsonville, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, April 28, 2021 in Maple Creek Missionary Baptist Church with the pastor, Rev. Earl D. Simmons Sr., officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
