Mrs. Mae Eliza Anderson Owens

Greer: Mrs. Mae Eliza Anderson Owens was a daughter of the late Elliott and Lula Viola King Anderson.

She was born in Greer, SC on Thursday January 30, 1936. She was a product of the public schools of Spartanburg County, SC and was a 1954 graduate of Carver High School in Spartanburg, SC.   

Mae was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Bobby Gene Owens and to this union five children were born.She was a member of Maple Creek Baptist Church and a former Technician for Honeywell in Greer, SC.

Mae was preceded in death by her husband, a brother, Willie Anderson and a sister, Mildred Sneed.

Left to cherish loving memories are: sons, Bryant Carlton (Beulah) Owens and Stephon Gene Owens; a stepson, Lee Ford; daughters, Wanda Owens (Daniel) Agnew and Paulette Owens; brothers, Wilbert Anderson and Eugene Benson; 18 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and many friends.

 Funeral Services will be held 4:00 PM, Saturday August 29, 2015 in The Gilmore Mortuary Chapel.
