Born in Spartanburg County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Irene Dawkins Byers, a former Caregiver and a member of Mayfield Chapel Baptist Church.

Left to cherish loving memories are: a son, Willie Mack “Skinny” Duncan of Greenville, SC; daughters, Carolyn Watson of Mauldin, SC, Roslyn Terry and Lenesia Hunter of the home, Lorraine Bowens of Greenville, SC; sisters, Maxine Byers of Greer, SC and Rosemary Johnson of Greenville, SC; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.

Graveside services were held 1:00 pm Tuesday, January 27, 2015 in Greenville Memorial Gardens with Mrs. Deanna Hudgens, officiating.
