Mary Ecolia (Watson) Collins

Mary Ecolia Watson, daughter of the late Jasper Mayes and the late Azalee Foster Watson and the step-daughter of the late Preston Watson, was born in Spartanburg County, SC on June 21, 1943.

Educated in the Public Schools of Greenville, County, SC, she was united in holy matrimony to the late Bunnie Roosevelt Collins.

Mary was a former Housekeeper and a Baptist.    

Mrs. Collins was preceded in death by daughters Teressa Diane Watson, Kay Francis and Barbara Ann Collins; her siblings, Larry, James, and Tommy Watson Sr.

Left to cherish loving memories are: sons, Junior Collins Jr. of Easley, SC, Johnny (Courtney) Collins, Jesse Lee (Patricia) Collins; daughters, Julia Ann Collins, Tina Williams and Dynesty Collins, all of Greenville, SC; brothers, Rev. Steve (Wanda) Watson, Richard (Patricia) Watson and Earl Watson Sr, Roy Watson, all of Greer, SC; sisters, Sally Watson and Sarah Watson, of Greer, SC;  Patricia Watson of Lyman, SC.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM on Saturday April 5, 2025 in New Jerusalem Baptist Church with  Pastor Sinclair Williams and Rev. Tracy Miller, officiating.  Burial will follow in Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
