Mildred Ann (Murray) King

Mildred Ann King 84, of 705 Amy Gray Street stepped into eternity on Monday, December 25, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her family.

beBorn in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late Hallie Murray and Blanche Cox Barton, a former employee of Spring Industries in Lyman and a member of Agape Church.

She was preceded in death by a son, Marshall Leslie King.

Surviving are: 3 daughter, Sherian A (Oliver) Smith of Lyman, SC, Dorothy Holmes and Chiquita King of Greer, SC; a brother, Ulyssee Murray of Greenville, SC; 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Viewing will be from 1:00 until 5:00 PM on Friday, December 29, 2023 in The Fred Singleton Slumber Room of The Gilmore Mortuary.

A Celebration of Life will be 2:00 PM Saturday December 30, 2023 in Maple Creek Missionary Baptist Church with the Pastor, Rev. Earl Simmons and Apostle Gerald Williams, officiating.  Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery
