Paula Katrina (Mitchell) Walker

Greer, SC: Paula Katrina Walker 58, of 1523 Clement Road, answered the Masters Call on October 31, 2022 in her residence.

Native of Savannah, GA, She was the daughter of Merthlone Mitchell of Greer, SC and the late Maurice L. Mitchell Sr.

Paula was a member of St. Mark United Methodist in Taylors SC and a Mental Health Therapist at the VA clinic of Greenville SC.   

Her hobbies were knitting, making jewelry, cooking and spending time with family.

Also surviving are: husband McArthur Walker of the home, a brother, Maurice Mitchell Jr. of Greer, SC; nephews, Maurice (Estoria) Killingsworth of Piedmont, SC; Marco Mitchell, and Jaden Mitchell all of Sumter, SC, nieces, Sharmece Mitchell of Pickens, SC, Destiny Tate of Greenville, SC, Jessica Mitchell of Sumter, SC and Krishna Alexander of Spartanburg, SC. Two Fur Babies, Slyvester and Kitty of the home.  A host of great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held from 1:00PM until 6:00PM, Sunday, November 6, 2022 in the Fred Singleton Slumber Room of the Gilmore Mortuary.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, November 7, 2022 in St. Mark United Methodist Church, 911 St. Mark Road, Taylors, SC 29687, with the Pastor Rev. Charles White, officiating. Burial will follow at 1:00 PM Tuesday, November 8, 2022 in Graceland Cemetery West, 4814 White Horse Road, Greenville, SC 29611.
