Pauline Pricella Pilgrim

Pauline Pilgrim, a beloved matriarch and devoted caretaker, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2024, at the age of 77. Born on January 19, 1947, in Greer, South Carolina, Pauline was the cherished daughter of the late Evelyn Scott and Paul Pilgrim.

Pauline's life was filled with love, devotion, and service to her family and community. She was the cherished life partner of Louis Gregory, with whom she shared many beautiful years. She was a proud and loving mother to her daughters, Terri Anderson and Elinor Anderson, and is reunited in peace with her daughters Monica Anderson and Denitra Ballenger, who preceded her in death.

Pauline's legacy of love and kindness lives on through her 11 grandchildren: Shenita Mitchell, Cornelius Ballenger (Adrianne), Jamitra "J.J." Davis, Tarphoria Ballenger, Lamar Davis, Geoffrey Ballenger (Tanesha), Sigourney Ballenger, Timmigo Ballenger, Aluxus Anderson-Drummond, Edward Ballenger Jr., and Nicolette Ballenger. She also leaves behind 14 adoring great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends."
