Toms River, NJ: Peggy Jean Foster Burney (Mema) went home to Jesus on March 17, 2020 at age 84. Peggy was born to James Troy Foster and Willie Mae Garrett on June 28, 1935 in Spartanburg, SC.

Peggy joins her children, Jack Algie Pryor, Kathy Ann Moody and Larry Michael Pryor, in Heaven. She is survived by her husband, Urell (Buddy) Burney, Ken Foster, her brother, grandchildren, great grandchildren, other loving family members and friends who all miss her dearly.

Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her.

Private internment will be March 26, 2020 in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
