Ricky Britt, Sr.

Ricky Britt Sr. 56, husband of Christine Dawson of 102 Madison Ave was called from labor to reward on Saturday, April 17,2021 in Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital, Greenville, SC.

Native of Titusville, FL, he was a son of the late Lewie Britt and Varnie Hill, a graduate of Cocoa High School in Cocoa, FL, a former cook at Cracker Barrel Restaurant in Duncan, SC.

Ricky loved experimenting with recipes and was awarded many prizes for them. He also loved classic cars and his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his siblings: Dallas, Johnny, Bobby and Early Britt, Linda Bradford, Maritha Thomas and Vicky Inman.

Also surviving are: a son, Ricky Britt Jr of Greer, SC; a daughter, Vernesha Britt of Greenville, SC; brothers, Harold and Ronny Britt of Cocoa, FL; sisters, Flora Bacon of Cocoa, FL and Deborah (Tommie) Lewis of Sharpes, FL; grandchildren, Mia Britt and Mariah Britt-Todd of Greer, SC; brother in law, Jessie Bradford of Port St John, FL; a special aunt, Mary Hampton of Benton Harbor, MI; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
