Shelia Benita Nesbitt

Greer, SC:  Shelia Benita Nesbitt, of 212 Oakland Avenue Apt #116, daughter of the late John Lee Nesbitt and Jereleen Jones received her wings on Wednesday, February 20 , 2019 in her residence, surrounded by her family .

Native of Greenville County, SC, she attended the public schools of Greenville County and was a member of Maple Creek Baptist Church. Most of her employment was as a babysitter for her friends.

She had a pleasing personality and was loved by all that came in contact with her.  She will be greatly missed in the home and the community.

Surviving are: a son, Jay Nesbitt of Greer, SC;  daughters, Shelita, Ashley, Jakeicha and Tiyanna Nesbitt, all of Greer, SC, Jasmine Nesbitt of Spartanburg, SC; a brother, Johnny (Jennifer) Nesbitt of Greer, SC; sisters, Deborah Cannon of Greer, SC and Rory (Kenneth) Smith of Taylors, SC; 13 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.  

Funeral services will be held 3:00 pm, Thursday, February 28, 2019 in New Jerusalem Baptist Church with the Pastor, Rev. Steve Watson Sr. officiating, Burial will follow in Maple Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the home.
