Tommy Watson

Tommy Watson was a son of Mrs. Azalee Watson of Greer and the late Preston James Dodd Watson. He was born on Saturday January 21, 1950  in Spartanburg County, SC.

Tommy attended the public schools of Greenville County, SC. He was a former employee of Billy Goode as a Brick Mason.

On Monday July 29, 2019 at precisely 3:11 in the afternoon, the Lord in his great wisdom dispatched an Angel to Greer Memorial Hospital to escort Tommy from his earthly home to his Eternal Home. 

He was a member of New Jerusalem Baptist Church.

Tommy was preceded in death by his father and 2 brothers, Larry Watson and James Watson.

Surviving are: his daughters, Kim Austin, Jacqueline Watson and Danialle Watson; sons, Tommy Watson Jr. and Wilbur Gregory; brothers, Richard, Earl, Roy Lee and Rev. Steve Watson; sisters, Mary Collins, Sally and Sarah Watson and Patricia Lane, all of Greer;  grandchildren,    a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends including a special friend, Mrs. Mary Greer of Greer.
