Tonya Denise Nesbitt

Tonya Denise Nesbitt, 48, of 7506 Jennings Street, Apt A, answered The Masters Called on Saturday, January 9, 2021 in Spartanburg Medical Center.

Native of Spartanburg County, SC, she was a daughter of Lucy Viola Nesbitt and the late Jimmy Lee Evans.

Tonya was a former employee of District 7, Spartanburg County Schools and a Baptist.

She was preceded in death by 4 brothers: Michael and Christopher Nesbitt, Jimmy and Kenneth Evans.

Surviving are: her fiancé, Russell McAbee of the home; a son, Keenan Terrell McAbee of the home; a daughter, Lashanda Danielle Smith of Inman, SC; brothers, Randy (Roberta) Nesbitt of Inman, SC, Kenneth Lee Evans of Spartanburg, SC; sisters, Annette Nesbitt, Beverly (Johnny) Wood of Inman, SC, Victoria (Wilbert) Smith of Boiling Springs SC, Pamela (Calvin) Mills and Debra Jackson of Spartanburg, SC; 3 grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial Services will be held 1:00 PM Friday, January 15, 2021 in The Gilmore Mortuary Chapel with Dr. C. L. McAbee, officiating.
